The Classic Open Air Nuremberg is an annual highlight in the cultural calendar of the Franconian metropolis of Nuremberg.

Every year, more than 100,000 music lovers come to Nuremberg on a pilgrimage to the Dutzendteich. Classical music in the park – with candlelight, a glass of red wine, cheese and grapes? This year again, the two large Nuremberg orchestras invite you to the Classic Open Air. On two days a year, the city’s great orchestras celebrate a glittering festival of the senses with the citizens. The Nuremberg State Philharmonic and the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra cover a wide range of classical music, from opera and operetta to ballet and musical. Free admission and the opportunity to picnic together in the park increase the attractiveness of this major event.
