Meanwhile the film festival lasts for eleven days! The event is one of the most important intercultural events in Germany and also attracts international visitors to Nuremberg. The aim of the event is to create an exchange between Germany and Turkey with a focus on the film industry. Film competitions are held at the film festival and since 2005 there is also an annual honorary prize winner. The prize is awarded to people who have distinguished themselves in intercultural dialogue. There are panel discussions and a lot of films are shown!
