Nuremberg Folk Festival

The next Nuremberg Folk Festival will take place from 23 August to 8 September 2024.

The Nuremberg Folk Festival takes place twice a year.

Once as Nuremberg Spring Festival in spring and then again in autumn under the name Nuremberg Autumn Festival. The first festival of this kind in Nuremberg took place in 1826. At that time to honour King Ludwig I. In spring the folk festival takes place on 16 days and in autumn on 17 days. In the meantime the folk festival has two large tents and four smaller tent restaurants. There are over 60 snack bars and of course a lot of beer is consumed – because Nuremberg belongs to Bavaria. As one of the highlights there are also big fireworks.
