The Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt will take place from 29 November to 24 December 2024.

The Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt was first mentioned in 1628.

But its roots probably go back to the times of Luther. “You Mr. and Mrs., who were once children, are now children again,” says the Christ Child when he welcomes his guests to Nuremberg’s Main Market Square at the opening of the Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt. A tradition that has been preserved until today. The 180 festively decorated wooden stalls offer traditional goods, handicraft jewellery and culinary delicacies. The smell of mulled wine, gingerbread and grilled sausages is everywhere, another tradition of delicacies from Nuremberg. Stroll through the festively illuminated stall alleys and be enchanted by the unmistakable atmosphere.
